Event Information

Notice of Photography

 Filming/photography will take place at this public event. Photos may be used online to promote the event. Efforts will be made not to capture the images of minors without prior verbal consent from a parent/guardian. If you would prefer not to be photographed, please let one of the organizers or photographers know on the day of the event.

Booths and workshops

A variety of booths and workshops to expand your knowledge on living food-stainably

A number of booths and workshops will be set up to educate you on the importance of eating local, learning on to grow your own food, preservation techniques and composting.

Kid friendly 

Safe area where kids and parents can come to learn about the importance of the local food system

The event is open to children and parents with a colouring station and hands on activities!

Door prizes and take-home items 

With each booth you attend you will have a chance at winning a number of door prizes

Stamp cards will be given for you to receive a stamp upon correctly answering a question at the workshop. These cards will be your eligibility at winning one of the door prizes

Our youth team is part of Co-Creating a Sustainable BC (CCSBC), an initiative run by the non-profit organization the Fraser Basin Council. CCSBC aims to get youth aged 16-30 involved in climate action and sustainability through youth-led projects.
